Antique hand made Persian "Kashan Gardi" rug from province Kashan
Persian rug, hand-made "Kashan Gardi", province Kashan, Persia ca. 1850-1860 Royal rug, with Qajar dynasty crown.
The rug is made out of 100% natural silk from Gilan province. Silk on silk warp.
The rug illustrates the "gate to paradise" and the Qajar dynasty crown in the center, surrounded by birds and branches of a tree of life.
The rug is a very fine piece of art, and it was most likely made for the Royal Qajar family.
Condition: Excellent antique
