Born in Riga, Ieva Bondare holds a Masters degree in painting from the prestigious Art Academy of Latvia and studied at the School of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Her work can be found in private collections in the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Israel, Russia, the UK, Luxembourg, Qatar, Norway, Latvia, Cyprus, Poland and Estonia. Ieva's first solo exhibition, Moments of Joy, opened in Washington DC in 2011, after which she participated in numerous group exhibitions and has had 25 solo art exhibitions.
